STEPS ON APPLYING FOR CONSTRUCTION PERMIT<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The electronic Construction Permit (e-CP) is a system-generated permit that is issued through the Mombasa e-DAMS system. The e-CP application represents the application of a construction permit, building inspection and occupation permit, at one go. The three services have been combined to make it easier and convenient for an architect\/engineer, on behalf of the developer (i.e. property owner), to apply and pay for the named services. Therefore, a single invoice is raised to cater to all three services.<\/p>

Upon submission of the online application form, the County Government of Mombasa officers can review, invoice, assess and approve the applications through the platform. The departments involved in these processes include:<\/p>

    1. Finance & Economic Planning,<\/li>
    2. Transport, infrastructure & Public works,<\/li>
    3. Health,<\/li>
    4. Water, Sanitation & Natural Resources,<\/li>
    5. Lands, Planning & Housing<\/li>
    6. Environment, Waste Management & Energy<\/li>
    7. Education, ICT & MV 2035<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      Mombasa County has also included key stakeholders in the development sector to participate in the assessment, e.g. Mombasa Old Town Conservation Office, National Environmental Management Authority, etc.<\/p>

      There are several payment options provided for the clients through an electronic payment platform (such as M-PESA, RTGS, Local Bank Transfer, Cash Deposits at KCB and others). The County Government of Mombasa receives the payment in real-time and a permit is generated immediately.<\/p>

      Once approved, the electronic construction permit is generated and made accessible to the applicant for download and printing.       The county will review and generate an invoice for payment.\nA notification for payment shall be sent via SMS or email.       Upon successful payment, the application will receive a new reference permanent number (e.g. P\/2020\/222).
